What We Have To Offer

ROPES & CHALLENGE COURSE -- Nestled in a grove of trees, we have over 5 high and 10 low element and infinite initiative ability and space.  All elements meet ACCT inspection standards.  Our challenge course elements are clustered so that multiple event can be used without interruption; ideal for recreational, therapeutic, and corporate usage.  Our philosophy includes Challenge by Choice, and the belief of utilizing intrinsic values during facilitation..  The Challenge course is a great tool to teach team work, problem solving skills, improve self-esteem, and promote mental growth.

CANOE COVE -- Where better to spend an hour or two, but paddling on the clear waters of Lake Travis?  We have a large protected cove to allow for canoe instruction and recreation, and the rest of the lake is at your disposal.  Turtle Cove is full of life both on the ground and in the water; of course there are turtles.  Canoe racks and a shed with all of the necessary equipment are near the water's edge.

BOAT DOCK -- A lighted, 3-slip, partially covered marina is primarily used during our resident camp for our sailing program.  It is also home for our 22' Sailboat.  At other times the dock serves as a place where one can experience being "out on the water".  Fishing expeditions can often produce bass, crappie, bluegill sunfish, and catfish.  Fishing equipment is available.

ARTS & CRAFTS CENTER -- A grand covered porch area with ample lighting and table space for crafting adventures.  A large sandbox for outdoor kiln creating or relief creations, and a large wash trough for clean-up are also available.  Equipment and materials are also available upon reservation.

Job Opportunities

EQUESTRIAN CENTER --  Currently, this facility is a summer resident camp program-area, but will become a year-round activity in the near future.  It features a lit 22-stand stall barn, 3 riding arenas, 3 large turn-out paddocks, and many bridle paths for hours of trail riding.  Our summer program emphasizes safety, both on and off the horse, and balance.  All riding activities are  taught by qualified riding instructors in small groups, and individual progression is documented for return campers.  During our non-resident camp times, the Outdoor Program Specialists are available to teach non-riding horsemanship to interested groups, or assist groups at other accredited sites.
